♥ These are a few of my favourite things…

February 27, 2009 · 2 Comments

Well  this week one of my dreams came true!  I upgraded my  camera!  The 5D classic has been world renowned for it’s consistent, excellent quality, sharp-shootin’ abilities and I have always dreamed  of  owning  one.  I was able to find one that was  babied, well cared for and  now I’m the proud owner!  (Thanks Tobi!)

It is amazing and is sure to make my passion that much more exciting! I absolutely LOVE full-frame shooting!   I have been testing it out all week long and these are some of my first shots:  This is Riley, Oreo and my beautiful daughter.

Also, I thought I’d do a “family” shoot of my family of Canon cameras!

My 3 kids each own one and we all LOVE our Canons!  Aren’t they adorable?  lol

Have a wonderful week!  Come on MARCH!!!  *think spring, think spring, think spring!*

Of Butterflies and Bumblebees…

August 22, 2008 · 2 Comments

This morning, I found myself chasing an ever-elusive monarch butterfly. This elegant little lady has been visiting my butterfly bushes often, but I had yet to capture her with my camera.

Also visiting were several hungry honey bees on my bluebeard bushes.

Oh yes, I almost forgot, this huge monster of a bee, I believe it is a carpenter bee(?), enjoying a Rose of Sharron flower.

Have a wonderful, glorious weekend everyone :)
