Yesterday  I met the most beautiful baby boy!

M is such a happy, wonderful little wonder.   It is easy to see why everyone who meets this little man quickly falls in love!

I had a wonderful morning capturing these precious early moments  in his little life.   Thank you D and R for inviting me back into your home.  I feel very blessed.

A kitten named Oscar…

Happy Holidays to all of you!

This blog is dedicated to a sweet little furbaby named Oscar and all of the beautiful creatures who are or have ever been at our animal shelter.

I have had the privilege of working with dozens of shelter pets over the past 18 months, but this kitten is extraordinary.   Oscar is an absolute joy!  He loved being my tiny little model and almost fell asleep as I worked. He played, purred, snuggled and played some more!

Oscar was brought to the shelter, a tiny kitten all alone, apparently rejected by his mom.  He was placed in a caring  foster home where he initially was very unsure and wary.  But with the patience and love of his great foster mom, Oscar the Grouch, soon became Oscar the Adorable!

Our shelter is very fortunate to have wonderful people who volunteer as foster families and give furbabies like Oscar a second chance at life.

Kudos to all of you!

I believe that there is something very special and unique about each and every shelter pet.  Each of them deserves to love and to be loved.  Each of them deserves to be safe and warm and have an advocate who will be their voice in the world.  The creatures at our shelter have so much to give and ask for nothing in return, only love.

This year, if you have room in your home and heart, please consider giving one of the shelter angels a new family and home.  Or if you can, please donate to the expansion fund.  Every single dollar makes a difference in their lives.

Today was a wonderful day, in so many incredible ways.  I had the joy of photographing a very precious little baby boy, only 13 days new!  Baby A is bright, content, snuggly and cute as a button!  I definitely got my baby-fix as I walked and swayed him to sleep.  Hi expressions were priceless!  I loved spending time with him and his amazing mommy.

I am officially in the Christmas spirit!  I am so grateful for wonderful clients like D and F and their sweet families.  It is always a wonderful pleasure to photograph them and play with their sweet  little boys!  Their home is so beautifully decorated and the tree was an exquisite backdrop.   V and R  are the cutest cousins!  Have you ever seen such fantastic curly locks?
This Christmas is going to be a very fun time for them.  What a gorgeous family!  And it’s about to get even more precious times TWO!

This week was a wonderful week.  I was blessed to capture not just one but TWO newborn bundles of joy!

Here is little mister “L”.  L is a wonderful, happy bouncing baby boy.  He was the perfect little GQ model, quite happy to pose for me in any way I chose. L is also my husband’s tiny 3rd cousin!  What a wonderful addition to the family 🙂

Thank you C and J for inviting me in to meet your new cutie pie.  It was truly my pleasure to spend time with both of you and to enjoy cuddling L.  I don’t think there is a better job in the world!

Today was a wonderful day.  I was happy  to be able to spend it with  such a warm and wonderful family.

Little baby A is only 12 days old.  She is sweet little cupcake and just so adorable!  And her big brother A. is such a bright, imaginative little boy!  We had so much fun playing “Cars” and “Thomas”.  Lightning McQueen Rules!

Windsor Essex County Humane Society’s Pet Idol Event!

Good Morning world!

Last night I was invited to capture some really fun moments at the Windsor Pet Idol Fashion Show.  I met some wonderful people and their wonderful pets.

It was so great to see so many caring people come out to support such an important, vital organization in our community.

Proceeds are going to the Expansion fund and the construction of the new building is now underway!

I had the most incredible, fun afternoon yesterday!  The R family invited me into their home to capture a small part of the story of their lives.

I absolutely love these three boys!  They are sweet, thoughtful, adventurous and LOVE to be outdoors!  We had so much fun playing games and trekking through a gorgeous wooded park.

Thank you, R family for your kindness and trust.  I could not think of a better way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon!

I met the most wonderful little furbaby yesterday afternoon.  Bobby is a beautiful,  sweet  Pappillon with a heart and soul much larger than his little being.  Bobby  lives with his sweet little playmate Molly.  His is the 2009 Pet Idol here in town!  I had the pleasure of being the “dogographer”  to shoot his first glamour shots.

We had lots of fun going for a walk to the beach and lounging in the window of their cozy home. Bobby and Molly are two very lucky dogs to have such a loving, kind person taking care of them.  Thanks “M” for inviting me over and allowing me to capture some very special moments.  More images soon!

Today I had the joy of meeting a very new little person.  Baby “D” is only 8 days old and just the sweetest, most precious little boy ever!  He is blessed with the most loving mommy and daddy who are so in love with him, you can feel it as you are welcomed into their warm home.  Thanks D and M for entrusting me with the capture of these precious memories.
