“What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life – to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories.” ~George Eliot

What a beautiful autumn afternoon!  I met with the most wonderful family at the beach for a photo shoot and it rocked!  Mom and Dad are dear friends of mine and are  so sweet and the kids, well, they are amazing!  What a truly nice family.  I don’t think I have ever seen such luminescent blue eyes!

Even the furbaby was photogenic!

Thanks J and G  for asking me to capture your family today!  It was truly my pleasure.   Here is your sneak preview:

Happy Happy Thanksgiving!

I am truly thankful for friends like you 🙂

“If I have a monument in this world, it is my son.” — Maya Angelou

Last evening I met the most amazing, beautiful,  gracious little family.  We had been trying to schedule a beach shoot for a few weeks, but the weather just wouldn’t cooperate.  Until yesterday.

I fell in love with little L. as soon as I saw him.  He is adorable, funny, and loves a good game of peek-a-boo.  His eyes are luminous and many times during the shoot, I actually had to catch my breath.  It was one of the best sessions ever, and it ended even more wonderfully than it had begun.  With two little arms outstretched to me asking for a hug.  Does life get any better than this?

Thank you M  family.  I had a fantastic time!   🙂

“Two souls, ♥ One heart…”

What a gorgeous day!

What a beautiful  moment in this couple’s new life.

I was honoured to be asked to photograph R. and B.’s wedding in beautiful Amherstburg!  They are  one of the sweetest couples I have ever met.  R. was radiant and adorable  and B. was handsome and kind, in spite of the fact that  he was under the weather.  They were surrounded by close family and friends.  It was perfect simplicity.

Thank you for inviting me in and allowing me to capture the magic of your wedding day 🙂

Here is your sneak peek!

Special kudos go out to my bro Tom, and my son Kevin for their wonderful help!  You guys rock!

Sunset at Blue Heron Lake

It was a gorgeous evening as we went for our walk around Blue Heron Lake. I was excited to test out my new Tamron wide angle 2.8 lens. Here are a few shots I managed to take. We have a wonderful Shetland Sheepdog, Genevieve, who loves to come along and occasionally share the last of the sugar at the bottom. But after she manages to tear off the lid, she often finds herself stuck inside the cup! Oh the disadvantages of a long snout! lol

And here is the gorgeous sunset we enjoyed:  Taken with Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens, no adjustments!
